Note: This is very much a work in progress. There are a lot of details and definitions I have omitted from the infographic because I'm still tracking down sources, but that's the general overarching model at this stage, ie: a framing of literacy as a system of affordances that enables people to move through informational realms/ecologies, and ultimately, through society. It's my contention that frameworks of literacy must not locate responsibility solely with the individual who needs to develop skills in order to have agency, but also on the design of systems that limit or block folks from exercising agency/inhibit quality decision-making/limit who is able to participate in a specific realm of life, and so on. - LB
